Thank you all! I am really pleseantly surprised by your reaction. Yes, I know with Roman Stoklasa, we are friends and I admire his work. There is sample of our collaboration, I forged for him some damascus for blades. Last one: https://www.facebook.com/66737997332462 … 949157081/

I have for you other hunter knife which was comission and I made its this year. More massive knife than previously.

On the blade is my damascus from tool steel which is equivalent of O2 steel, residues from local factory and second steel was band from saw mill. Arounnd 100 layers.

Guard from patinated bronze and on handle is small piece of vine wood from my house in Sudoměřice and the oak from river shore of Morava. Wood is a four hundred years old.

Hand sewn leather sheath with little decorating.

Thank you for looking!

I like very much your work on the handles, the way you finish all the wood parts.

Thank you Augustus!

So I finished next knife, which was comission too.

Overall length is 28 cm, blade 15 cm.

The blade is forged from old file from fitter's shop in Petrov village. It is partial hardenned.

The guards are from patinated bronze. On the handle I used deer antler which is decorated with runes and initials of upcoming owner. Second material is ash burl wood from shore of Sudoměřice stream.

Hand sewn leather sheath was colored in mahagon red and decorated similliar as knife handle. Finally sheath is impregnated by bees wax.

Very nice! :coeur:
If I were a Viking, this would be my EDC knife!
The proportions of the blade and handle are just perfect, you're talented to give an antique style to it and still have a "simple", sober knife! Really good job!

I personnally would have prefered a full quenched blade for my use but that's just me ;)

Thank you el-Lapsa! Yes, I really like simplicity in every things of my life.

So I want to presnet next knife from my workshop. Is it comission and I will sew the sheath for this folding knife.

Overall length is 22 cm, blade 9,5.

Is it slipjoint knife with damascus blade from my own forge. If my memory dont lies me, that is same packet as hunting knife on this page.

Handles are from beautiful burl wood of ash tree which I found on shores of Sudoměřice stream. This wood is very varied. I used it on previous knife too. Blade move on bronze washers and between stainless-steel shims is hidden stop pin. Backspring is ground from flat spring of unknown lorry.

Hi all!

Today is the first day of spring and I wish that this season will bring more healthy air for all of us. But I write this post beacuse I made new folding knife which is for sale.

It is bigger slipjoint knife. Damascus on the blade is from my forge and the wood from old oak roof beam of house from Skalica town on handle. This oak wood I used for door to my workshop in Sudoměřice and on the handle is reasidue of planks. Surface of wood is original hewn body of beam, only ragged with steel brush. Overall length is 24 cm and blade is long 10 cm, 5 mm thick, but it is narrower onwards to point of blade. Backspring is ground from flat spring of lorry same as on previous knife. I wll sew sheath so if you want this knife, write me a message.

Thanks!

Hi, nice. It reminds me a bit of a Janca Zdenek's knife of mine, in the shapes.

C'est pas du tout le style de Stoklasa, Janca Zdenek oui, mais pas Stoklasa, il fait des fixes très très sculptés.

Nice work ! You talked about a homemade powerhammer, can you show us that ? I'm curious.

Beau travail ! Tu nous a parlé d'un marteau-pilon fait maison, tu pourrais nous montrer ça ? Je suis curieux.
